Valvoline synthetic or Gastro???

Valvoline synthetic or Gastro???

Which of these is the better synthetic oil? Im using valvoline sythetic now but was wondering if the gastro is better or if there is an even better one out now...Im just wondering.

gastro? you mean Castrol? Mobil 1 is the best parts-store available oil, synthetic or conventional, that's what i would use

read some studies, someone ought to be able to post a link, but sorry to say i don't have it. don't beleive what someone here says based on personal use in a few cars over a few years. after you read the study compare price and avaiability. for me M1(i must have at least 10 five quart jugs in the garage now) is the best choice, but on occasion i do run amsoil.

Ive never ran cheap oil but for some reason I usually used valvoline. I will try some mobile 1 synthetic next time..price is about the same as the valvoline. I get a 20% discount either way. Im also running k&n filters but I will switch if someone can prove another filter better...

Mobile 1 and K&N filter--good combo. Can't go wrong with that.
