clear plastic tubbing..

i was at Ace Hardware yesturday. and i noticed that they have clear hose. like 1\2"-3\4" hose. kinda like heater hose but clear!!! some of it that could withstand up to 200 PSI.. i just don't know what kinda heat they can withstand. and i was thinking how weird\cool it would look to like use it as heater hose or something and have green coolant flowing through it. i know it probably sounds like ****. but i was just wondering if u guys think it could handle the heat? i mean i doubt i would actualy use them and keep them on. but i thought about trying it..

i wouldnt use it. that stuff is for carrying tap water and the like, not hot coolant. Most of that stuff doesnt have any reinforcing cord in it so when it hardens up from the heat itll rupture.

If you're talking about the hose I think you are, dimented24x7 is correct. Hot coolant would destroy it.

It would look kewl though!

ya i definatly wouldn't want them all to be that way. i think it might also look cooler on a car without so much crap in the engine bay. like maybe an old muscle car with only two heater hoses going to the heater core or something..
