This thread kind of died out for a little while, but since it's back now here are a couple updated pictures of my engine now that it's fuel injected instead of carb'd
She only put down 180 HP/320 TQ at the rear wheels though, hopefully I'll be able to figure out what's up with that this summer

Nothing like pulling a thread back from the dead. I'm amazed I didn't have an old pic of my engine in this thread. Here's what's in my car now.

Here is my new beast, just finished putting it together. Should be in the car middle of next week. Figure right around 420-430 hp on the crank. Hoping anyway!

Oh yeah, just what everyone wants to see, another L03!
I've since removed all the stickers, and I'm starting to think the chrome valve covers are just too much. Can't decide.

The car belongs to afriend of mine. I installed a TECIII fuel injection system on it, and varous other electrical updates. Now you can drive it to the local dairy queen and it idles and runs somewhat civilized.

It is a V12. I think you are right about the 5.7, but honestly I forget the displacement. It is an 89 countach. If you want to hear the sweetest sound on earth, you need to listen to this engine at full tilt inches from the back of your head.

Right on to the above. Don't want to talk smack, but I think you'd have better results from running a standard air cleaner, like a drop-base type to give you better/smoother flow.....yes youre getting cold air, but youre severely limiting what you can intake at higher rpms. Limiting heat intake is important yes, but limiting airflow is moreso. If you have an aftermarket hood I think it would help quite a bit...stock hoods seem to be exceedingly good at holding in heat!
