Starting when hot
I can crank my car up as many times as I want. But as soon as it gets hot it wont crank over. The steps I have taken to fix this problem is Replaced the starter, replaced neutral safty switch, new battery die hard silver. I can't solve this problem I've been trying for 3 weeks now. Please help!?

As soon as what gets hot? The engine?
You may be getting heat soak on your starter.
What car?
If it's your user name you may have the timing advanced too much.

If it's just that the starter doesn't have enough nads, try a mini-starter. I have the CVR one on my 400, it spins that motor about 3 times as fast as the weenie stock POS ever could do to the OE 305.

Yes when the engine gets hot the car wont start. It's a 77 chevelle like my member name. It has a 305 in it... and it's not getting heat soak because I've had the car a year and it just now started doing it. Not to metion when I put in the new starter I got the temp up to 190 and I got out and felt the starter it was only a little warm.

Ok I can't get this fixed! The car doesn't seem to want to crank over when it's hot. The starter will give this half *** effort to crank the engine. I've done the following to fix this... Reaplaced the starter and the starter solenoid, new battery die hard silver, new neatral safty switch, and I have a 10 g wire on the negative side of the battery as a ground wire and it seems to help a little bit but not enough. The starter and solenoid have been tested and it tested fine. The old starter I had didnt get heat soak at all so I don't see why the new one would it's exactly the same. SOMEONE PLEASE HELP!?

chill out, it's a very common problem. basically what is happening is as the engine bay gets hotter, the resistance of your starting system goes up.
Couple things you can do.
1. make sure all of the starter connections and battery terminals are CLEAN.
2. Put bigger wires on.
3. Try putting a heat shield on the starter. Or reroute the wires away from the engine.

Try retarding your timing. I had the same problem on my GTO. It was too advanced so hot starting became an issue. I retarded it just a little and the problem disappeared.
Try it out. It doesn't hurt, it's free, and you can always move it back.

Follow your neg batt wire to the block (I hope it's the block and not the alt bracket) unsrew the bolt, clean all the sh*t off and wirebrush the bolt threads and batt lead end clean. Apply a tiny bit of antiseize to the top and base of the bolt, put 'em back together and start the ol' girl up.
