cutting braided line questions

cutting braided line questions

how hard is it to cut braided steel lines and put fittings on braided lines. ive never messed with braided lines before, im sure i can do it, just wondering whats involved.

Wrap electrical tape around the line where you want to cut it and cut it with a fine tooth hacksaw.

thats easy enough, how about putting fittings on the ends of braided hose?

If the braid flares out a little and you can't get it into the fitting, put a screw-type hose clamp about 1/8" from the end of the hose and tighten it down until it squeezes the hose enough to get the fitting on.
