Autolite's anyone???

A few months back I did a complete tune up on my Z,but the parts store was all out of AC Delco plugs I usually run (AC FR3LS) so I had them cross reference with Autolite and give me that set of plugs(#3924).Motor is a 355,10:1,AFR 195's(64cc),Comp Xtreme 274 cam,Stealth intake with a Demon 750 DP,4 speed manual, and 3.73's.I starting noticing my car developing a miss at part throttle cruise a month or so back, which in the last few weeks has developed into a full miss from around 2,500 rpm and up at any throttle.I am suspecting plugs and am heading out after work to get a set of AC's,what does everyone think of of Autolite's?I have ran them in other SBC of mine with great results, but I can swear this is a plug miss this time, any and all help is appreciated.

DON"T RUN AUTOLITES in a Camaro, problems develop which you are finding out. ONLY RUN AC DELCO plugs. check your plug wires in the dark for leaking and also check for cuts. Make sure you get the right heat range for your state other wise the plug may foul.

Only run Delco plugs??????

Nah, I always ran NGK plugs in mine....why wouldn't you run anything but Delcos? There are better plugs out there for sure.

For street driving that we all do thats all you need, yes there are platium tiped plugs that will stay cleaner longer but the insolator will foul just the same thus leaking the same to ground as a regular plug. BESIDES AC Delco plugs are like 1.08 a piece with tax. Change them as offen as you like getting that new plug feel.

I had big problems with Autolites too, I switched to the Bosch +4s and love them. Better Burn rate and Better mileage. 50.00 for the set though.

What's up guy's ? I've put almost 30k on a set of Autolite Platnium's and I haven't touched 'em since I put them in. The car always fires instantly, I can't complain.
