Goodbye, thanks for all the good times

Hey guys,
Just wanted to say goodbye to everyone and wish them all the best of luck with their cars... its been a great year dealing with all of you, you people are the best people I have ever met in my life... you always helped me and helped each other its great to know that there is such a unity left in this world... I am going now.. straying away from the thirdgenworld, saturday my beloved ( and hated) formula was hit and totaled while parked outside my brothers house.. the good news is that Im getting full value for it... im walking away with 6 grand.... my brother owns a car dealership and he is setting me up with a 93 corvette, with a 6 speed.... so I say fairwell to all of you and I wish you best of luck in the future with your car, thanks again and goodnight

Good luck with the new found power. I drove the 6spd Vette in my signature, WOW, I'm sure you'll have fun with the new one.

I just checked out a Competition Yellow 93 auto Vette on Saturday. Damn those are sweet cars, I just can't justify selling the IROC for one of those right now.

Good luck with your new toy.

big mike, you probably couldn't get the right side rear plugs out? those are a bitch but it can be done, and once you've done it a couple times, it gets easier. if you had trouble on the driver's side, take the ASR box loose and pull it aside, then they come out like a charm.

bklucas12, just cause you lost your thirdgen doesn't mean you have to leave, corvettes are still chevys and they have smallblocks that are just like ours.

im not worrie dabout the kids sparkplugs anymore but i believe we did have the ASR box removed along with quite a bit of other stuff and it just didnt seem feasible.

Also, I agree that he shouldnt leave. There are a bit of corvette guys on these boards still and even though most of us dont have LT1s or LS1s we know quite a bit about them...

why leave man? You dont love us anymore? I see how it is. You can always stay here and tell us about the new car or at least stay in the racing boards. A lot of know about lt1 which is what the vette has so we could still semi what help you if you need it.

I tell you what - I own '94 Vette LT1, and packed on 50,000 give-m hell miles and I spend a lot more time here than I do on the corvetteforum! What does that tell you.
My '82 is so far beyond stock, it's in a different catagory.

I'm with 'Riley'...you'll be back HA-HA-HA :sillylol:

The ThirdGen certainly isn't the "majority" in my garage, but, like Ronterry, I spend a lot more time here than other fora. Good luck in finding a Corvette forum that is this helpful. There are some out there. When you get really stuck, you're obviously still welcome. Your car still wears a Bow Tie.

At least you weren't in the car, and you didn't get shafted by the insurance company. Good luck with the new ride.

Besides, you should probably show it off here a little anyway, just to make us drool on ourselves.

I agree with Vader... This is the best resource for information on the net. And there are always people here to help. Some members on the board only have vettes and they contribute a lot.

On an off topic note though... Does anyone know where I parts number index for 4th gen camaros? I know there are a wealth of 4th gen sites and the information is bound to be out there. I have looked through several but only find scattered information. Wish I had access to service.gm.com hehe
