help i think i have a problem with my fuel pump?
I think my fuel pump is on the way out. Sometimes the car runs fine, and then all of a sudden it will stall and i wont be able to get the revs above 1500. if i just leave of the gas it is okay. Does anyone know what this is? please help!!!

If you still have a Cat. I would check to see that it's not plugged. Look under the car at night with the engine warmed up, see if it is glowing. Its been my experience with Fuel pumps, when they go, they go.

Before you get all excited about the fuel pump, don't overlook the fuel filter. If it has done what it is supposed to do, it may be clogging.
Testing the pump pressure would be a good idea. A vacuum reading would be a good indication of the condition of the cat and exhaust.

more history on the car
its a 92 rs with 305 tbi engine
its done 135 000 miles
thats about all i know about it
things i've done to it are : replace front shocks and steering bushes
replace flywheel
replaced the alternator
installed an open element air cleaner
removed the back seats
installed cobra clubman bucket seats and shroth harnesses
next up is a rollcage.
