Car running pretty crappy now that its hot?

Well i have 305 tpi in my 91 Z , its auto and only has like 53k miles on it now... i bought it at the end of last summer, so now that its hot out, it seems to be running pretty crappy??? usualy is abs perfect! just seems like its kind of struggling when trying to accellerate? this sound like a tune up probably? or is it just this heat, its very very very humid lately and just yucky humidity out.... are there things your suppose to get done to these cars at about 50k miles? anything i should replace? only thing that has gone wrong with it so far is the alternator and that is replaced, anything else i should look at or do? thanks alot

Is this a daily driver? If It hasn't had any gas added since winter, maybe that's your problem, summer gas is different then winter gas.

it is a daily driver now, when i first bought the car it had been sitting in a garage for a very long time, and it was running like crap, but i put good new gas in and it drove perfect, but thats not the issue now i drive it everyday and its just starting to hesitate and sounds like it cant breath or something, this is like 7 months later since i got, i always put in 93 octane maybe i got some ****ty gas or something, and i should go to sunco and put that 94 octane gas in? or i dont really kknow

A tune-up couldnt hurt. Might want to check the cap and rotor for buildup. Also might want to check the fuel filter if it is stuttering under accelration. What kind of temps are you running when you are driving around? I cant remember if it was you or another guy with a 91 Z from bethesda that was having over heating problems. Weather has been crappy so I havent been driving my Z. Plus I have some stuff yanked out to paint and havent had a chance to work on it. Got a nice rain bath last night though. lol

I think nothing has been done to this car at all... i mean like absolutely nothing, so maybe i should just get a tune up and that will take car of most of this stuff, such as the fuel filter, fuel injectors, it kinds feels like myc ar is running on low octane gas, but im pretty sure im not that stupid and put in the crappy stuff, maybe its possible, im gonna get it a tune up next week, couple hundred bucks but maybe it will fix it
