white exhaust after oil change
After I did an oil change my car smoked. White exhaust, rpm did not matter. The oil was kept to a proper level before the oil change. I went for about a 100 mile highway/city ride and it cleared up????? Any ideas why it might have smoked like that?

white smoke is moisture: IE burnt water, but if it was cool outside like in the 40s or lower then it may have just been because of that and not leaking intake gasket or cracked head(s)
you positive it was white with no hint of blue at all ?
good luck

Yea, I'm sure it was white exhaust. It did only after the oil change.
Had not done it before or after. I did have bad seals on this car and I replaced the valve stem seals. But that smoke had blue in it.
If there was a cracked head, blown head gasket, or bad rings, would'nt it smoke all the time?
BTW, it was about 80 degrees outside and a bit humid.
