Ideas what this will run??
I haven't had the car to the track yet since it won't stop raining on the weekends!Here's my set up.
4 bolt 350 bored .030"
Federal Mogual Crank
Flat top 4 valve relief TRW pistons
GM "Pink" rods w/arp rod bolts
"3973487X" casting heads,shaved .005" Light port Job,screw in studs,Lunati springs and retainers
Lunati 00012lk Cam
Lunati hardened pushrods
Edelbrock Performer RPM intake with 2" carb spacer
Holley 650 w/#72 jets
Carter high output mechanical pump
Accel Blueprint distributer w/supercoil,8mm wires
Dynomax Ceramic coated headers 1 5/8" primaries
Dynomax y pipe and header mufflers
TH350 rebuilt using B&M race kit
B&M 2500 rpm stall
B&M stage 2 shift kit
3:56 posi in stock 7.5" rearend
Front swaybar removed
Firestone Firehawk ss20's 225/60R15's
No major suspension mods as of yet.in the future i'll be adding
6pt cage,sub frame connectors,boxed control arms and ssm bars.I wanna see how far i can push it with stock suspension.
Thanks in advance for your help..I'm worried it's not gonna run what i'm hoping (low 13's)..I'm considering a 125hp shot if motor alone wont get me close to 12's.Thanks!

It's what came on the car when i bought it last year.They were new and look pretty good.A buddy might let me borrow his slicks.I'm just concerned about grenading the stock rear.Assuming I use the slicks..anyone else have any guesses?i agree the tires are way too skinny!I can punch it at 30mph and it'll get squirlly...

you know it's low 13's huh. first of all, i take all reason out when you asked the question. if you knew much about cars, you wouldn't ask this question. also, racing on the street isn't the same let alone not racing someone more than off the line. if you didn't like the answers you were going to get, don't ask. when you get back, post your timeslips and we'll see if you were what you thought.

Ok first off...I'm not going to turn this into a petty argument.But,I am ase certified in 5 areas.I simply asked the question because this is a third gen site.i figured someone would be able to give me a guess.I know of several 305's that run 13's.So yeah I question your thinking that I can't beat a aneamic 305 with 355 with a better setup.And yes his car ran high 13's last year at muncie raceway in indiana.

Just to prove my point...I took this from another post.He's not reffering to my card.
