Aluminum intake elbow!!!!!

I just got my summit racing cataloge a few days ago, and just got around to looking in it, and under the new TPI\LT1\LS1 section, i see that Vortech has made a new Intake Elbow for 93-97 LT1's.. Its aluminum with ruber connectors.. I searched for them online, and couldn' find anythiing, and summit didn't have a pics of them, So if u have a summitracing cataloge you will have to look on the last pages for it. Or i will try and scan it. But anyways, this is my question, what are the differences in the intake elbow on a LT1 and a TPI? (assuming its on a Trans Am)... because i would love to get this, it seems to be alot higher quality then the stock piece.. its part # vor-4gh112-050 for summit

Car: 88 Firebird WS6
Engine: 350 TPI
Transmission: T56
Axle/Gears: 3.42
It appears that it is not long enough 'before the bend' for out TPI cars. It would prolly run real close if not hit the A/C compressor.

perhaps you are right. But i was thinking that too, but then i started wondering if maybe the rubber connector would give it the length it needed to clear everything ok.. Maybe we should all ask Vortech to make one for TPI..
