Heat soak (what the Heck are the symptoms)
OK I know my heat soak posts are getting old but Im still confused to the exact symptoms of heat soak. Here is what I know.
SYMPTOMS:
1. Car wont start after it gets hot (usually from stop and go driving)
2. I can pop the clutch to start it.
3. I can wait till it cools down.
But heres what I need to know. When heat soak happens are you supposed to be able to jump start it or not???

SSE,
If the failure to start after heat soak is becasue of a starter solenoid problem, jumping it to start may not solve the problem. If the engine will crank well after heat soak but not fire, you have a compression/fuel delivery problem.
What are the exact symptoms, since I didn't see the other posts?
