what kind of benefits from LT1 intake?
i know alot of guys have done the swap, and i did alot of reading about it, but does anyone have dyno numbers to show the improvements of doing the lt1 intake on a modded car? reason being, i am possibly looking at putting LT1 intake on a L98 with world products heads, hotcam, 1.6rr, basically a heavily modded engine, and was wondering if it was gonna make a big improvement over a ported base/ plenum and slp siamesed runner setup?
thanks, Brad

Well, I havent installed mine yet (its going in with the new motor), but I know that the LT1 intake has a much broader effective operating range, idle-about 6500, where as the TPI, chokes off in the mid 5000's. Dont let my opinion sway you though, let some more experienced guys post first

Because the LT1 intake has shorter runners it develops less torque down low when compared to TPI but will rev like mad because it has the ability to make more power up top than TPI.
Are you using the LT1 computer or TPI?
