fuel line diagram....check it out.....

ok guys, i got bored and started to play with AutoCAD...

here is a diagram with all of the components of the stock fuel line system and an aftermarket braided fuel line system. i put all thread sizes, etc. but no part numbers. ill do that later.

i didnt really double check anything so if there are mistakes i probably already know about them by the time you guys see this, but let me know anyways.

what do you think?

Use ROMANS for your font type (looks better than SIMPLEX)

Try not to mix dimensions you have Metric and Standard...
It's not a jap car... size the fuel lines accordingly. 3/8" supply and 5/16" return. You can identify the fittings as being metric since they are.

You probably know this already but here is a little reference guide:

-4AN = 4/16 = 1/4"
-5AN = 5/16"
-6AN = 6/16 = 3/8"
-8AN = 8/16 = 1/2"

Great effort

i know its not a jap car, and actually, no, i didnt mix up any dimensions. those dimesnsions are all correct, and in the correct "format".

i didn't identify the size of the fuel line (hard line, or rubber line) because it is kind of useless information. i know that it is a 5/16" return line and 3/8" feed line but it doesnt matter when replacing the line with stainless.

and, when you order hose (well at least when i ordered it) you order it as "-06 AN", not 3/8".

edit..i just tried the drawing with romans...looked good...

The Cross-Fire TBI's have a 12mmX1.25 thread.
I used EARL's adaptor #991945 to AN6.

It was the same thread both feed and return.

yeah i figured the 12mm thread was the 1.25 pitch instead of the 1.5 but couldn't find any info on it.

thanks for the confirmation...
