Dual Snorkle L03
I am going to be putting a L69 HO305 dual snorkle on my L03. I believe that the A/C compressor is in my way. Is there anyway to get around it, or must I pull it (I never use A/C...)

Thast what I have heard, but I doesnt look (or feel) like they will end at all (the metal A/C lines, ccorrect?), let alone enough to pass a air duct over them. Well, it will become clearer once I aquire the ducting. Thank you.

I own the same car as you and have been considering installing the same air cleaner assembly. I have also been doing a little research on the matter of installation. The car will require a little modification. I think the A/C lines are fine where they are but you will have to relocate the stock diverter valve and it requires modification to do this. You will have to shorten the tube and rebraze it, alter the hose angle and fabricate a new braket to attach it to an existing intake manifold stud at the left front of the engine. You will also have to drill a hole in the air cleaner for mounting the air temperature sensor. A good book to purchase if you are considering installing this is "Camaro Performance 1989-1996", Summit carries this. It covers everything and has pictures to help.

You don't need to remove or modify anything, bend the diverter valve bracket down also. This is all you need to do. I had it on my 1991 Formula, all that was done was to bend the A/C lines and bend the diverter valve also. Don't hack stuff up, just take your time and do it right.

I like how Cody says "don't hack stuff up, take your time and do it right". Is this how you take your time Cody by bending **** out of the way?? By bending metal tubes don't you think that that might cause something not to work properly, by restricting flow? Especially on something that helps you pass a smog test. I know when it comes time to have my car tested I want to pass, and continue driving. Legally!!

No grafx I didn't just bend the hell out of it you take it off and bend it. Bending some pice of metal to the side isn't going to affect the flow of a rubber tube. Keep you constructive critisim to your self thank you. My car was a mint Formula with 48,000 miles on it I didn't just go bending stuff for the he!! of it. The air diverter only needs to be bent down and to the right just a little bit, it will still touch the air duct bu thats as good as it gets.
