Inline fuel pump + stock regulator = will it work?

Inline fuel pump + stock regulator = will it work?
I did a lot of searching but didn't see this scenario.
I've got a stock L03 (89 5.0tbi), but have a fuel cell. I put in a Holley 12-927 inline fuel pump. Will the stock regulator handle that and bring the pressure down to the 9-13 needed or is this too much pump for the stock regulator and I need to put a regulator before the TBI unit.
thanks!

43 gph at 15 psi? I don't know why that would be a problem for the TBI regulator. Seems to me that's the same volume as what a TPI in-tank pump puts out--depending on who you believe for the specs of the TPI pump.

Try it and see...
