305 TPI TO 305 TBI
Hi I'm new here and I just got a 91 z28 conv. It had a 305 tpi in but the guy I got it from pulled the tpi and put on a carb intake. I don't want to mess with the carb crap, so I have a tbi intake that I'm going to swap on to it. I think I have everything that I'm going to need. I have a tbi wiring harness from a 89 truck that I have stripped down. I have a 7747 ecm so I don't have to deal with the vats. I have the truck style distributor, it has a bigger mounting base. My question is about the knock sensor. Can I still run the tpi knock sensor since it should be set up for that cam that was in it stock or does it send different voltage to the ecm? I'm worried that if I run the tbi sensor it won't read correct.
