Elgin Cam for my 91 305 build
Picked up a cam my engine builder recommended. Its an Elgin cam and the specs are .460/.470 lift, 228/284 duration, and 106 centerline. I was planning the LT1 cam install, but he said I would like this one alot better. Although now Im tossing the idea around of porting the heads or getting new ones to benefit the cam more.
So far its a 1991 50K mile stock block that Im going carbed with. I have a Edelbrock Performer Intake, a 600 cfm Edelbrock carb (needs rebuilt still) Flowtech shorty headers, MSD 8 mm wires and a carb spacer.
I also have LT4 springs which Im not sure if I can use or not, anyone know?
