New or Refurbished Throttle Body?
I've been looking around for a new or refurbished throttle body for my '88 Camaro, but haven't been able to find any. The mechanic said that mine has a rod that has gone bad (sticky accelerator pedal) and that I should stay away from used ones because they could have the same problem. Can anyone point me in the right direction of where to find a new/refurb throttle body?

Re: New or Refurbished Throttle Body?
The throttle shaft bushings must be worn really really bad. Used are always somewhat worn, but many are still in good usable condition, depends a little on your budget or preferences. I can send you a pretty clean used one still quite usable for $25, and you could even get it rebushed if you wanted. Just another option. LMK

Can't remember exactly, not cheap but it was resonable.
Could send them an e-mail for a quote.

Do you know anything about them, if they're good or not? Also, would the chip need to be reburned to handle a higher flowing throttle body?
