what difforence betw EDL 7116 and 2116

what difforence betw EDL 7116 and 2116

Only RMP range ? and is any reason to replace 2116 to 7116 ?

Different provisions (for water maybe?) - look at the driver side of the intakes - one has a hole, other doesn't.

One is spread bore, other is square bore or spread bore

do a side by side compare - you will see different wording - click the compare box on one, then get other on screen and click compare box on it, then click the blue compare button above - gives a side-by-side view

The 2116 is a spread bore, the 7116 is a 4150 (square bore) flange. Your 1406 is a spread bore and will not seal on a square bore flange without an adapter. If you want to step up the 2604 is your piece.

I would not waste effort to install a 7116 in place of 2116, the adapter you would need is a spread bore to square bore piece. The adapter you have is a TBI to squarebore.
