Good site for LO3 mods

here is a guy thats knows his stuff. at least it seems that way to me. he has a few pages about how to modify a LO3 TBI here

http://www.goingfaster.com/spo/modthel03.html

Heres a good page about why the TBI system is just as good, if not better than carbs and TPI. This could dispell a few myths as well as change a few bad feelings towards TBI around. ENJOY!

Wow, we were just talking about Black Echo's site a week ago. So this doesn't turn into a flame fest let me let you in on "Black Echo". He is banned on this site, Most of the things he said in that site are either outdated or blown WAY out of preportion and to top it off because he honestly couldn't figure out how to properly tune tbi he swapped over to tpi. SOOOOOOO..... He made good points but his opinion here is null and void. Not trying to be a **** but I'm not the only one who knows this.

Re: Good site for LO3 mods

oh, my bad. haha. i had no idea about that. ive only been on here for like a week. It did seem it may have been a little over exagerated though. but a lot of the points did sound valid to me. To be honest im kinda new to all of this and i was just trying to contribute to the site. i dont even own a camaro yet but i'm trying to get a jump on learning about how to mod them and things like that because i do plan on buying one this summer hopefully and i feel it may be a TBI since its hard to find a good deal on a nice z-28 or IROC in my area.

So sorry for the useless thread guys.

Re: Good site for LO3 mods

For some reason, when I saw the title "good site for LO3 mods", I knew which site it would be. Not that this board isn't enough of resource, but maybe someone should make a such site.

Re: Good site for LO3 mods

That site lost its credibility to me when I went out and bought the edelbrock tbi cam after it recomended it in the cam article. Little did I know til the block was already ripped apart that I was replacing a roller cam with a flat tappet. Ummmmmm, whats the point of that... took it back to Summit lost 50% of the money I spent on it (due to the fact i technically installed it) and got a comp roller cam with a much healthier lift. It was after this incident that I really started putting some due dilligence into my projects and checking out thirdgenorg! You live and learn!
