Need a new Fuel pump but which one?
I need an in tank pump for a built up 305 running 350 injectors. I know stock type is no good but what pump to use? I can't afford to spend too much. Is there one I can get from a parts store? I have heard a TPI pump will work. I also heard there is a turbo trans am pump that will work? I found this http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/NEW-H...mZ370063786389
I have their adjustable fuel pressure regulator and bored out throttle body and they work fine. Just not sure if this is too much pump for a built 305?

Thats what the regulator is for. The description says it's fine for stock replacement too. Good price too, only thing I'd worry about is lack of a decent brand. Usually I cheap out on stuff but the fuel pump is something you NEVER want to do more than once. Nothing like disassembling the entire rear half of your car over a weekend. Mine is the Napa stock replacement and so far so good (knock on wood).
PS- Nice to see a thirdgenner in WNY. Alot of import guys around here lately. Actually had to cruise with a cobalt SS and a subaru sti over the summer.

What model number pump are you running?
You are right about those imports they are every where, and those retarded mufflers they run. It sounds like a fart in a coffee can! when they drive by!

Does anyone have any thoughts on the v6 Turbo pump for a Turbo T/A or GNX?
They are about 85 bucks at the autoparts store by me and come with a warranty. Will they flow enough for a modded 305 (or a 350 if I get one later?)

Not sure of the part #, I'll try to look it up soon. The autozone part numbers for TBI, TPI and a 454 truck are the same. Napa doesn't have a good website but this makes me think stock replacements are pretty good. Please post if you figure out a better option I'm doing some mods and wondering if my stock one will hold up

I saw that and it would probably work but my in tank pump died. This inline pump needs a working in tank pump in order to work properly.
Does anyone know the specs on the turbo v6 T/A or GNX pump?

I wouldn't use any other fuel pump, but this one for the price. I have had this pump in my car for 4 months and it's been awesome. The quality is excellent and I don't know of anyone who backs their product more than Brian. 336-471-2827. Give him a call and you can discuss this pump with him. I guarantee no one else is this easy to get a hold of and is as honest as him
You won't be disappointed!!!

I got a walbro 190 for my 350TBI from that guy, costs like 90$, comes with great instructions and all the wires necessary to hook the new pump up. Very straight forward, and once i paid, i got my pump in 2 days.

Ok thanks guys i will go with the walboro or the one from Brian.
Since no one has answered on the turbo v6 pump I guess i will skip it. I know I read about it somewhere, I thought it was here but I can't find the thread.
I wanted to go that route if I could because i could get that pump for free. I have a new oem replacement from autozone that is unused and they parts guy said if I buy the Turbo T/A pump he would let me return the oem tbi pump for it and they would say it was a factory mistake that they boxed it wrong. So I would basically be swaping it out. But I can't find the info on the Turbo V6 pump, I hate to cough up cash f I don't need to....

I like the bosch tpi pump that I recently installed. My quieter than the airtex pump it replaced. Ran about $75 with strainer at Advance Auto Parts.
