EBL and noobs???

OK gentlemen, my engine is pretty much set up where I want it now.... just putting the finishing touches on that world heads swap allready have a cam, free-flowing intake and exaust! So the good news is my L03 is ready to make some power...now time for the bad news! Despite all these mods, I've never had computer tuning done to it (Oh yeah, the computer is reeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeal confused lol) I had planned on paying Jamey from LS racing to burn me a chip, but LS racing is no longer doing chips and I can't get ahold of Jamey from his old e-mail address. I was gonna ask you guys where I should go from here, but with a little research under my belt, I'm pretty sure I know what most of you will tell me: get the EBL. I was just checking out Dynamic EFI's model and it looks awesome. The price seems really reasonable for the unit too. My only concern is having never done any computer tuning in the past I may be getting in over my head. How much of a learning curve is there on an EBL for a noob such as me???

You should get it driving nicely wery quickli with EBL, getting the full potential will require many hours of reading, learning and taking notes.
If you get live help from an expert tuner im sure he will get you a better tune with EBL then with the stock ECM.

Re: EBL and noobs???

The EBL is made by a member on here, "RBob". He will probably stop by to answer any questions, however, you could try sending him a PM if need be.

Re: EBL and noobs???

I'm trying right now to rush the rest of my rebuild and get to tuning. I program control systems for a living, and admit I am a bit intimidated by the EBL. But just like anything else, the mountain always looks bigger from the base. The more you climb, the easier it gets. Plus, you have the support or the forum. Before you know it you will be talking PE AE BLMs CTS .... like the rest of them.

Good Luck!
