Newbie turbo questions

Hello I just aquired a light blue 91 L03 Firebird auto and I am a newbie with the GM TBI. Although I have extensive experience with the Starion/Conquest Turbo TBI.

Questions:
Is there anyway to get more than 275hp out of the Holley replacement 670cfm TBI via turbocharging (i found an interesting twin turbo kit on ebay but it had way too much chrome on the exhaust manifolds) or supercharging?

How much power can a stock healthy L03 block vs L98 block with 100k miles take with all the bolt ons (upgraded TBI, upgraded intake manifold, turbocharged) take safely? 400hp? 500hp? 600hp?

Do I need to an ecu upgrade to drop in a L98 block for TBI? I want to keep the L03 Block's ECU. unless I can find a chip that rocks 87 octane out.

I am planning on running a twin TBI, twin Turbocharged w/ a 91-92 Fbody L98 on a manual tranny w/ the 3.08s if I do this right. Even better on 1 TBI; As you can tell I am interested in keeping TBI.

thank you for dealing with newbies, as usual. thanks.

Re: Newbie turbo questions

as with any forced induction upgrade you will need to tune the computer. i don't know alot about pc tuning so i can't help ya there. as for the turbo upgrade i would use the 350 block and build it up because a 305 doesn't have enough cubes to benefit from a twin turbo and would probably have major turbo lag. what you could do is get a double 4 barrel manifold, get the adapter plates to install 2 TBI's and use 1 turbo per TBI. would make for an interesting set up. you will need to do extensive head and cam work to get all that air to flow in to and out of the engine, which is y i suggest a 350 base to start with. if you can find a truck TBI 350 from 87-up theres a possibility it will be a 4 bolt main. camaros and trucks used the same 350 block #638 but trucks also used a 880 casting number as well. i have an 880 block and it's a 4 bolt and also have 2 638's one is a 2 the other is a 4.
