350-500 HP on TBI????
Planning my new engine...looking at an engine anywhere from 350 to 500 HP (probably more along 450HP) Will a 454 TBI beable to handle this? Would I use the same 454 injectors..or get others? I would really rather stay with TBI (have changed my mind between TBI and TPI like 20 times) but I want to make sure it will handle it....oh and later (WAY LATER) down the line...it'll be running off a supercharger or NOS.

The 17112560 454 injectors should flow enough fuel for 500hp at aprox 35psi. It will require serious PROM reprogramming to do.
EDIT: In addition, if you haven't already, go to
www.thirdgen.org/gmecm/
www.thirdgen.org/diyefi/
and search for 17112560, TBI, 747, Programming 101, etc. There is alot of good TBI info.

i think the issue would come down to if a stock 454 TB can flow enough air to get the job done. you may want to look into one of the holley 4 barrel set ups to feed a 500hp motor. it would also give you full on the fly programming of fuel and spark curves too.

or you could help fund building mine. that way you only need 2 injectors
ac delco aslo made 90pph injectors for serious tbi fuel systems. what i dont know.
those injectors would like 35psi to much for too long though.
and your idle would suck because it would be hard to meter the fuel even with prom changess at low rpm with such high pressure.
however if you can get some 82, or 90 pph injectors. it could go 600hp if need be.
that 454 tbi may work to about 400 but not the best tool for the job if you know what i mean.
