LO3 oil pan - depth ???
My oil pan is still on the engine, in the car, but I need to order an oil pump and bolt on pickup for the backup LO3 I have in the garage.
Would it be 7 inches deep or 7 1/2 ??

Come on now, someone knows this
7 1/2 .. 7 .. or is it even 6.125 deep ?
Is this one correct ?

If I can't order the setup today.. it will set me back an entire week again since I don't have Saturday/Sunday off and work afternoons

I just happen to have one laying around (off an original 1992 LO3 engine). I dropped the tape measure in at the deepest part of the sump and measured to the top of the pain rail- just a scosh over 7-1/2".

Well I called and changed the order.. to a pickup for a 7 1/2 deep pan
Hopefully it'll work, if not I'll have to return the entire deal since it's not a bolton pickup
