injectors????? possibly shorted out?
Ok, i just got done fixing the short that happened when i grounded out the positive battery cable on the header. my car will start , but will not stay running. the injectors do not pulse at all,
do i need new injectors or could the whole short thing have messed up something else that is keeping the injectors from spraying?

Check the 20A fuse that's in the weather tight holder near the battery. It should be mounted to the inner fender just to the rear of your battery. It controls the injectors and ECM. I blew that fuse once and the car just cranked but wouldn't fire.

Ok, i checked that fuse, it's good. See, the only thing that doesn't work as far as i can tell is the injectors. the car will run, but only on the gas that i pour in the TB, after that is all burned, it dies due to lack of fuel(injectors not pulsing). if you guys can't help i'm gonna just go get some injectors and see. but i'd rather not take shots in the dark.(well, not actually dark, but semidusk i guess)

If you're going to try different injectors just get a TBI off a car in the boneyard. That way you'll have test injectors (If those work, then go out and buy new ones) and you'll have a second TBI unit to modify without worry of ruining the only one you have.

hope you didnt fry the ecu. probably not, check all fuses twice with a volt ohm meter. sometimes they look good by sight, but in fact are not.

Ok, I had the ignition module tested, and it is good. The fuel pump doesn't prime at all, and even when I give the green wire going to the FP relay power, nothing happens.
I know that if the FP relay is bad, the ECM uses the Oil Pressure switch to turn on the fuel pump. I have sat and cranked my car for several minutes at a time, but to no avail. Also, my Oil pressure gauge doesn't work, does this matter?( it has never worked for as long as I have had the car and never affected anything before.)
I am about to take the ECM in to be tested at Autozone to see if I fried something in it.
Could I have blown the FP? It has less than 100 miles on it.
Any other suggestions??

Ryan,
Try supplying power directly to the pump at the ALDL conecctor. Whether or not the relay is bad, this should get power to the pump.

The green wire goes to the ECM.
You need to put power to the red wire on the relay.
