Need opinions on engine swap, keeping TBI
I'm soon going to get a bigger engine to replace the L69 in my 1984 T/A. My wife wants more performance in her 1991 L03 'bird, so i'm thinking of rebuilding the L69 myself and putting it under the TBI setup. (all tentative preplanning, nothing for sure yet)
I'm guessing i'll need to do some work on the Eprom, but does anyone forsee any trouble with this swap, as far as the TBI goes?

I'll guess that no replies means "Duh, of course it'll work." Off I go!

i'd say get a 87 L69 cam, and put it in the L03.. save you the money of a rebuild on the 84(flat tappet, 2 pc. rear main.).. and you'd need a diff. intake if you plan to use the whole L69 under the TBI induction( center bolts are canted diff.) If you get an 87 L69 cam, roller, all you have to do is change the cam and there you go.. or you could get a cam from someone else. just my $.02
