i just got a 454 tb form ebay w/afpr mod...some questions...

i just got a 454 throttle body from ebay. the guys says that it is from an '89 truck. he also said that he did the afpr mod. should i be worried that he somehow messed up the afpr mod? just wondering what i may have gotten myself into.

any tips on recinditioning the throttle body at all? anything i should look out for?

no worries, your injector pod is the same as the one thats on the 454 unit, youll need to run your injectors anyway

z28 boy, I thought you already had the holley 670 unit? What are you doing with the 454 unit?

so i am going to use my injectors, and that will be enough fuel? what is the stock injector's flow rate?

i am assuming that the increased fuel pressure that i will be running will compensate for the smaller (stock) injectors, am i right?

Jon...the reason that i am trying out a 454 throttle body is because everyone says that the holley unit is garbage, so i thought i would try it out. and i still can't get my TPS set right on my holley, so hopefully the 454 will be better in that respect. i think that the TPS issue has caused a lot of my problems.
