Engine Knock

I am by no means an expert mechanically at ALL heh but my engine seems to knock as I accelerate.. only accelerating not idling or decelerating... any ideas?

Yeah, a small hole in the exhaust near the engine will make that sound. On my 94, I once thought I had a lifter ticking, only to find it was a header gasket leak. In fact, before I looked for exhaust leaks, I scanned it and noticed a huge amount of retard under the part to full throttle. Turned out that it was fooling the knock sensor into hear "false" knock.

I would almost guarantee that your engine is out of time. That is what all the books say would be the problem.
