edelbrock performer or world products S/R torquer heads?

edelbrock's and SR's heads designs are becoming dated. Edelbrock is about to come out with its new line any time now. Trick Flow 23* heads are good if they have a good cc size for a 305 and you could use them on a a 350 later. The chambers are LS1 style heart shape. Aluminum heads should save 40lbs. off your car vs. cast iron heads. Combine that with an aluminum water pump and you're on the road to a good diet

Yeah, aluminum heads are the thing to do if you have the cash. What else have you done, or are going to do at the same time? Any good aftermarket head really needs a cam to get the most out of it. Keep that in mind if you just doing the heads. There are alot of things that affect the engine's performance, and you will get even more gain out of the new heads with a manifold, headers, etc. Yeah, I know, get out your wallet lol!
