Do I need this for LT1 cam?
I am trying to build up the parts I need to do an LT1 cam on my 305 this spring. I went to a local speed shop and a TPI thirdgen guy there buying parts told me that I would definitely need a different distributor gear, he said the hotter cam would chew up the stock bronze one in a hurry. He recommended GMPP part no. 10456413. Anyone done this? or can someone please give me an experienced opinion?

If you have an L03 ...you already have the right gear on the dizzy for the LT1 cam. Both cams are steel.
