Holley 670 cfm adjustable fuel pressure regulator

I am not sure how high the adjustable fuel pressure regulator will push the psi... does anybody know?

If its the OEM replacement one, then itll safely go up to 18 PSI. Higher then that causes the pump to dead-head.

What about the holley fuel pump? Will it be able to get 25 psi with the holley pump? I bought the pump holley recommended which is this one...

Holley Performance Products 258 PPH In-Line Universal Electric Fuel Pump*12-927

15 psi and says it'll support 400 hp on tbi units but I'm hoping I can get 430 hp out of it... what do you think?

I also have this one JEGS High Performance - Accel High Pressure Electric Fuel Pump

but its a very high psi(45 psi) pump that I bought before I did my homework so I switched to the holley pump(won't the regulator bring that down though?). Which one do you think would be best for my setup? My specs are under my name... but I plan to switch to afr 180's and a 252/252 425/425 smog legal tq cam...

with those heads and cam desktop dyno says 430 hp and 461 ft lbs with a tq curve like a ruler: Table numbers desktop dyno(beastofablaze - Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting. But I don't know which pump to run.

Youll probably need around 25-30 PSI to support some decent power with the holley injectors without going static at higher RPMs/loads. You will also need a different pump and a high pressure fuel pressure regulator spring from holley.

Those DD numbers look a little over optomistic. I would guess that with the AFRs and mild to moderate cam you could probably get around 350-375 in chassis horsepower.

Holley might have an alternative "spring". i run a GM TPI pump with an Aeromotive FPR(increments of .50 lbs on gauge) that has one spring for 10-20 and another for 20-50.

i currently with GM 80 lb injs at 23 lbs FP.

Holley says 15 lbs with 61 lb inj's supports 400 HP? that does not add up?Holley also(used to) sell a 80 lb inj unit. i thought all Holley was rated 20-22 lbs FP. maybe they changed rating system.
