how do i use this fuel pressure gauge?
I finally found someone with a Fuel pressure testing kit but looking at the label it says "U.S. and IMPORTS, except BOSCH CIS & GM TBI"
and i have a tbi lol... so does this mean i cant use this??
could i possibly get some kind of adapter or somthing? the instructions all seem to say to put it on the "high pressure line" but the ends of the two hoses that attach to it seem to have little pin pushing objects like its for a schrader valve or somthing... any way i can install a schrader valve or somehow use this gauge? i would really like to not have to buy one....
THANKS!

Most (all?) GM TBI's lack a shraeder valve (or other means) for easily attaching a pressure gauge. There are adapters that can be screwed in line at the o-ring fitting (either at the front, or at the fuel filter) that provide the necessary coupling point. These can be bought with the gauge kit and temporarily installed as needed (messy with gas everywhere), or you can get adapters to screw in line and leave there for permanently mounting a gauge or shraeder. I just bought one that screws into the TB and I'll be putting a 1/4 NPT shraeder in that adapter.

Aside from what BadDog has already mentioned, Actron sells a fuel pressure gauge that comes with an adapter that goes in between the rubber fuel line and metal fuel line in the engine compartment. You can buy that adapter separately for about $7. And, it appears that you can buy it directly from Actron, too, if you want.
Check out the lower left hand corner of the page under "Parts and Accessories", it gives a part number for the adapter, PN 0180-000-1320.

Here's an example of the kind of adapter that temporarily replaces the fuel filter to test fuel pressure. I could have sworn they were much cheaper than $50 a year ago. I bet there is a place that sells them cheaper.
