TBI spacers...good? bad?

I am thinking about a throttle body spacer, are they worth the money on a TBI car?? I have used one before on a chev truck with the 5.3L, wasnt at all impressed..Just made a whistle noise. Are the TBI engines better with them??

Welcome to the boards! Save your money. A TBI spacer does increae plenum volume a bit but on a stock motor you aren;t going to see anything. You could spend that $50 and get a LT1 cam or put it towards some other mod that would be worth while. I can only see using a spacer if you have an all out 305 TBI and you want to use one as a way to tweak your tune.
