holley 670 2 1/8" bores
hey i just got my holley and the adapter plate for a square bore and i measured all 4 holes and they were all 2 1/8" across (radius), i am not complaining but is a true 2 incher 670 cfm or is the 2 1/8 actually a little more? did anyone else measure thier holes.
mine also came with the alllen key hole plugged for the fpr... i drilled it out and pried the cap off.
and fortuanitly the connectors i pulled off the blazer snapped up perfectly!!! unfortuanitly i no longer have the metal fuel lines... so i will have to fab something up...

Did you measure from the top or bottom of the TBI? The Inlet is a little wider and tapers down to the 2" bore size. I bet if you flipped it over and measured it would be right at 2".

I just measured mine (since it's had no use for about 6 months now ), and it also measures in at just a hair under 2 1/8". I assume the adapter plate is the same as it matched up nicely, though let me warn you, the holley squarebore adapter is crap!

Its two inches. Since I cant remove mine I cut a thin piece of packaging cardboard to two inches (ok, it actually was about 30 thousanths over two iches) and inserted it into one of the bores. Its a very tight fit. I would say conclusivly that its two inches, or at least the one I have is two inches. I wish it where bigger, but its not . The actual adapter is just slightly larger then the bores of the tbi.

Just for note, I measured my 670 on the underside, in align with the shaft-in which it came out just under 2 1/8".
The reason I say the adapter is crap is based more so on the positioning of the tbi itself- its so far foward, I attribute it to my dead 383. The rear valves were burned, while the front ones weren't nearly as bad.
If you are leaking fuel from where you say you are, then that is definetely not good- and i would assume you have a vacuum leak as well. Check your gaskets. Also make sure it is not fuel splash off the blades either.
