I would return the spacer unless you got it for next to nothig. Just like any car that is about to be modded to need to start with intake and exhaust. I would look into getting an open element along with the ultimate TBI mods. You should then look into exhuast mods. Check out the exhaust board for that. Have you read the "new to TBI" thread at the top of the page? That should tell you where to start based on what makes these cars tick. Since your question is asked so frequently I encourage you to search. Chances are you will find the info you need. Check out the exhaust and suspension boards for info on parts selection. As for TBI, look at the tech articles about the ultimate TBI mods. The sticky at the top should really show you the light where these cars have their weeknesses and what needs to be changed to make them performers. If you have any other problems or questions please post up.

i agree with shifty, return that tbi riser.. but keep the injector spacer.. it actually lifts the restriction of airflow..
tbi mods are nice.. i havnt got the chance to do it yet.. dont need to..
first things first, open k&n intake, and full exhaust.

I would go with a custom CAI and full exhaust. It really helped my car out. I did my exhaust for 200 and my custom CAI was less than 20 bucks. Ended up giving me about a half second and 3-4 MPH in the 1/4.
