the only thing you drill out is the dinky cup at the base of the reg. i believe 3/8 drill bit is plenty big. and just slot the screw though there are a number of different ways to make it an adjustable reg, so you can adjust it w/o even removing the tower.

Does this make it so that you can manually adjust the pressure, or is it a vacuum thing. Also how high can you get your fuel pressure with one of those?
Thanks

If you do that mod, yes, you do have to manually adjust the fuel pressure. You can buy a fuel pressure regulator that runs with vacuum from TDS (sponsor at top of page) but you still have to manually adjust that one, too. The homemade one is cheaper, of course. I am not sure how high you can get the pressure but if you bump it up too high it will have negative effects (bigger is not always better).
92MaroRS-I have one tip for you. After you get done with the FPR and turn it 180 so that you can see how high or low the cup is with the TBI on the car, make sure you grind a little bit off of the FPR housing because it will not seat flush since it has been turned. If you don't know what I'm talking about now, don't worry, you will when you do it.
