WinALDL data analysis...

someone give me a 2nd opinion on this please..

this is my knock table:
http://josh.swoca.net/board/mrdude/t...4407_KNOCK.txt

notice around the 2000/60 range where i have all thoes knock counts? well look at my O2:

http://josh.swoca.net/board/mrdude/t..._194400_O2.txt

see the voltage in the same area? seems kinda lean huh?

heres my BLMs
http://josh.swoca.net/board/mrdude/t...194418_BLM.txt

INTs
http://josh.swoca.net/board/mrdude/t...194413_INT.txt

and last but not least, the log:
http://josh.swoca.net/board/mrdude/t...194806_LOG.txt

the car is a stock L03 with headers, single plane intake, and a open element

so do you think its lean there, and that makes it easier to knock, or what?

fueling seems ok, and where you are getting the knock at, is under part throttle, so your engien should be correcting. i would suspect timing, can you post your timing tables, and what is your base timing set at?

base timing is advanced 3*

timing tables is whatever is stock for the ANTT chip.

you might try backing it of to 0* and see if it still knocks. since that is an easy enough change.

i dont want to mess with that until i get some chips burnt..

after 2 weekends at the strip last summer, i determined that 3* is the ideal place for the motor.. or atleast for the best times..

im just wondering if its that far off.... doesnt seem right. like theres a lean hole there or somthing.

you can try giving it more fuel via the chip, the o2 can lie to you, but with the stock cam/heads and only a signle plane and headers, i don't imagine that being a lean issue.

what do you think about how far the BLMs are spread then?

well, there is the 1 cell that is 137, in your wide table, all the narrow readings are 122-130 with the expetion of the 135. but remeber those lean BLMs SHOULD be correcting. you really need a little more data, from some higher RPMs. it might be needing some more fuel, but not alot, i have ran my car wiht blms in the 140 range, with conservative timing, and it doesn't knock at all.

Where the O2 is .044-.077, INT = 128 and BLM = 137?

This is probably Lean Cruise mode. The BLM Enable column also shows the BLMs being disabled during lean cruise.

when the KC happened to me at 2400-2800 and 30-40 map i pulled out 2 deg in those cells and went away. now i am going to add 2 deg adv in all cells and give that a go. my spark is very conservative stock(?) table.

Yep, HW mode was probably in effect. Off the top of my head i think theres a coolant constant tucked away somewhere in the prom that you can set to zero (inv a/d counts) that will disable the HW mode completly so you dont have to worry about all your datalogs being skewed by low 02's and blms of 128 when you go above 50 mph or so.
