TBI guru's: My TBI motor died while I was driving and won't restart!
I was coming home from work yesterday and I was doing like 45 when the tach dropped to 0. My motor had died so I put it in neutral and pushed the clutch in and tried to restart it and nothing. I finally had to coast off to the side of the road and have my dad pull me home. It cranks fine (new igniton switch) and there is no vats problems, I saw fuel coming out of my injectors but the thing just won't kick over, it just cranks. I haven't had a chance to check the ignition system but I just did a tune up this weekend(plugs ,wires, old accel coil, cap, rotor).I figured that there is either no spark, or no fuel, cause the motor is in great shape otherwise. I also thought that it could be my fuel pump and that the fuel coming out of the injectors was just left over pressure.
Need help.

Sounds like the same thing happend to me. Driving and then just stopped and could not stay running. That is a fuel pump if I had to geuss. I could still see fuel coming out of my injectors so I thougth other wise, plus my pump still made noise. So I tried a trillion other things and was forced to take it to someone. It was a fuel pump and it didn't entirely die but only could supply like 5psi at wot. That is not even enough to get your car to idle.

pull your dist. cap off to see if rotor is spinning while you crank it...could be a fauly fuel pump though....

I'm with gen3z, pull the cap and see if the rotor spins when you crank it. I had the exact same thing happen to my 85 SC (LG4). Went to make a left turn and it just died and never started again...ended up being a broken timing chain.

NOT ANOTHER REPAIR!!
Oh well, I'd rather it be the timing chain than the fuel pump, I can at least fix that.

Ignition Module
It was the ignition module! I trouble shooted all the things you guys told me and since I had extra modules and coil's I kept changing them until it started. Thanks guys! TBI remains invincibly reliable.
