Looking for this air cleaner assembly

I'm looking for a part that looks like the attached picture so I can do my own air cleaner/cold air assembly. Any leads would be awesome cause this K&N model is WAY too expensive.

I think you can go through some junkyards and try to find a Cadillac TBI aircleaner. I'm pretty sure some guys on here have done that and its a similar enclosed design like that.

Like Bron said, the caddy cleaner can be had for $10 from a junkyard. You'll need to cut the bottom down a little, as it sits a little high and at a slight angle.
It is what I use with my ram air mod

Does that K&N one fit with no modifications?

Says it "works best" on 200 c.i.d. engines or less...so it might hurt more than help...

Oh and it costs $166 from Summit... http://store.summitracing.com/produc...earchType=ECat

Hmm, Summit said nothing about that.

What does the Caddy cleaner look like and what year span or model did it come on cause I'm no Caddy expert.

If you look at the details you can find the 200ci thing. Thanks for the link, ill look for the caddy one though.

Any idea what years/models they came on, there arn't any pick a parts around here, you have to know exactly what you want.

Here's one example, as used on a 93 Caprice with the TBI 350. Note that it's an elbow not really an air cleaner. They were used on late 80s / early 90s fwd v8 Cadillacs.
