I think I'm doing something right, not sure what though. If this was a mail order chip it would be a stage XXX.
I can't wait to hit the track.

Oh man 42 is a dump. Too bad you couldnt have went to Norwalk with cofba.
Good luck with your times though. If you can find a sticky set of tires get them, you wont hook with street tires.

What cam are you using? I saw the specs on the other post.
Also, what kind of pistons are you using?

Stock case pistons and the cam is the one that came with the motor, 212/222 .435/.460 , it's mild.
I wish I could have gone to Norwalk but it was the timing. I had exams last week and it was just a PITA to get those locking wheel lug nuts off the car without the key. Took me all day but I did it. My friend has a completely stock 2001 GT with nitto's and he likes dragway 42. I'll see how it is when I get there. I don't have any tires other than these Perelli P-Zero Nero's but I tell you what, if these tires don't hook me into a sub 2.00 60' then it's gotta be the track.
Unless.... Chuck, do you have sticky tires I could borrow ?

Man you know if I had a set you could use them, but no dice yet. Check on cofba.com, I bet someone from the area would let you borrow a set.
The track isnt horrid, but I think Im just spoiled from living 20 mins from Norwalk when Im at home Just watch out during the slow down part, it gets real bumpy, my friend though he blew his rear end up haha.
