Intake Manifold Compatability??
Hey guys. I just signed up and im new to the forum. I have a couple questions, maybe some of you could help me out.. I have a 1988 Camaro RS with the LO3 engine (V8 5.0L T.B.I.). Im planning to swap the intake manifold and T.B.I. unit at the same time. Im looking at:
Holley's TBI intake manifold Part #: 300-66
http://www.holley.com/HiOctn/ProdLin...SM/300-66.html
Along with the T.B.I. unit:
Holley 670 CFM Two Barrel Direct Replacement Performance TBI
Part #: 502-3
http://www.holley.com/HiOctn/ProdLin...SFI/502-5.html
Has anyone ever tried this combination? Is it a good setup? Is the manifold in the way of anythin? Do all the bolt's fit? and can I use the same bolt's?

it will work.
you would probably be better off getting a 4bbl manifold and a carb to TBI adaptor plate, to go along with the 670cfm TBI.
