That cam is pretty big, bigger than the ZZ4 cam. It will run with the stock chip, but not well. IMO anything larger than the LT1 cam is where you have to start chip tuning.
You don't need to buy new lifters, you can run the stock ones.

How not well? That cam seemed pretty mellow 2 me actually, I know its kinda steep for the 305 but I wanted something that would be great for my future 350, this cam wont be great 4 it just not possible to have one runnable with a 305 and great for the 350, but itll be alright for a 350. Thought it would run fine with the stock computer anybody else think that ill need some tuning as well? How bad do you think itll run?

Car: 91 Camaro RS Convertible
Engine: 305 TBI
Transmission: 5-Speed
Axle/Gears: 3.42
I would think that without tuning you're not going to be happy with the results you get from such a cam in your 305. That's a decent amount of duration a lot of lift for a 305 and some guys say not to go under a 112 lobe separation with TBI. I would say tuning for that cam in your car would be a must. Plus, I don't know the specs on your engine now but if it's basically stock I would think that a cam like that would be really restricted by the stock heads and/or intake manifold as well as the full exhaust.

Don't get me wrong you would absolutely get a gain out of that cam no question about that. But you are going to want to tune it in, that's already a lot of lift you'll need new springs support that lift and most likely need to machine the heads to take that kind of lift and as for the 1.6 rockers I don't know if that would even be possible even with machining, I could be wrong though about the limitations of the head but that would put your lift at like .539. I know some guys have run ZZ4 cams in a 305 so it definitely is possible to run a cam similar to this one but it will take some work.
