Honestly for the money you should go with an edelbrock performer or rpm carb intake. The tbi performer doesn't flow much better than the stock one plus it's more expensive than the carb versions. Just get the carb version and buy a tbi adapter plate and then mount the plate and trace around the plates holes on the top of the manifold then you can taper the holes you traced out on the manifold to match the plate and tbi.

You'll want an 87 and up manifold. The bolt pattern is different on the pre-86's. By "Taper" I mean when you bolt a tbi adapter plate onto a carb manifold you'll be able to look straight down the two holes of the plate and see the ledge of the manifold sticking out because the carb opening isn't quite as big as the tbi opening, so instead of having a flow blocking ledge I traced around the ledge to match the tbi plate opening. Then I took the plate back off and got my dremmel out and cut away at the area I marked. It'll be about a half circle and basically your just widening the whole so it will be circular to your plate. You can't just cut a circle straight down into the intake cause goes down to far so you gradually bring the cut back down towards the middle. Kind of like a bowl.
So basically you have a slanted edge down in the manifold instead of a wall for the fuel and air to hit.
