Absolutely nothing in my opinion. I used the thermomaster after I had full exhaust, MSD, and K&N open element. I noticed nothing. the chip only advances timing and air/fuel at WOT at upper rpms. Not enough to feel any gain, and probably not enough to see one at the track. Do a search. Hypertech chips are not reseaved friendly on this bourd, as they shouldn't be.

over the counter chips are junk. you can get more out fo ultimate tbi mods, diy afpr, and a flat base 14x3 open element and you only spend 1/10th of the money. teh lower temp t-stat you can do on your own adn that just allows you to run a bit more timing, which is only adjust ed from base timing anyway. add a higher pressure radiator cap and you can put in even more base timing.
open element= $15 from parts store
22psi t-stat= $15
advance base timing = free
ultimate mods= free
diy afpr = $.25 if you don't already have the bolt around

compare taht to a chip that costs $150 and you will get far less out of and you can see why so few people around here are shopping over the counter.

later

The hypertech chips do something, they increase your 1/4 mile times by reducing the weight in your wallet.

I am glad I am not the only one who thinks those things suck. I am also glad I am not the only one who bought one. Hypercrap, hyperjunk, same difference.

Maybe I can find a kid with one who doesn't know anything and maybe I can talk him into buying it from me...
