Need GM part # for smog pump delete serpentine belt on 305 LO3
I have a 1991 RS with a 350 in place of the LO3. I have removed the smog pump so will reroute the serpentine belt as per the tech article instructions. But the Dayco part # is quoted there. Does anyone know the GM part #?
Thanks.
Andy.

Just look for a belt with a length of 96.7. Thats what I did. That part # thats listed just stands for the length. So just match it up with a different brands length.

i dont know about you all but with my serpintine setup i just took the smog pump out and the origional belt still runs fine around the stock routing. Just an inch shorter and it would be perfect.

LOL... just looked at teh tech article and i put it on in the same maner w/o even realizing it. Think i had it like that before too. Guess it isnt the stock routing after all.

the modifed belt routing in Pablo's article is the stock belt routing. I went out and took a peek at the sticker on my upper radiator support. I dont know why his was routed the way he said it was origionally.

this is funny!!! cause me and hardrock spent quite a few minutes looking at the differences between our stock belt routings
seems like the early lo3s were different
