GM 350 or GM Crate 350
i was goin to get the Crate engine from GM that had 330HP. but i dont have $2100 so i was thinking about the stock replacement 350. it has 250HP. this engine is only $1285. and if i change the cam and lifters while its out, i can gain a few more HP. what cam and lifters would be good for this engine. 250HP is a noticible difference from my stock 170HP right?
would any of u use this engine or have any of u. or should i just save more adn get the 350 HO.

yeah, but the gm goodwrench 350 is a 4 bolt and 250HP. then a cam and lifters is like $250-300. so total is around $1500. would that be more powerful than a L05.

teh big advantage of the 330hp motor is that it comes with vortec heads. you can take those heads a lot further than the plain stock replacements that coem on the cheaper motor. do an LT4 hot cam and 1.6 rockers to teh 330hp motor and scoggins dickey says it is a 420hp motor

http://www.sdpc2000.com/ has TBI crate engines with 300 or 330 HP. does anyone know if these also need a intake, distributor, and TBI unit. the 330 says it comes with the vortec intake. so does the 300hp come with the regular intake?
