question on swapping factory tbi intake for an edlebrock performer
The factory tbi intake on my '93 Chevy truck 5.7 has a heater hose that runs to a nipple on the rear of the intake near the distributor - the edlebrock performer carb intake I want to run does not have a water outlet on the rear, but does have several outlets on the front I could put a nipple in.
Should I run the heater hose to one of the water outlets on the front of the performer intake, or to the plugged outlet located on the top of the waterpump?
Any help is appreciated.

I just did a similar swap tonight i went from the stock intake to a Weiand team "G" what ever that means cool intake to it was defintaly different some holes matched some didnt and I had to get creative with some but the heater hose that connects in the back of the intake I just took that hose spun it arond and it reached the front no questions asked I'll get you a picture of what i did tommorw I'm tired and dirty
or you could just do like i do jump in with both feet and have at it this is my first intake swap and didnt do bad took WAY to much time and I kept looseing parts they grew legs:lala:

I had to do that when I put my Holley intake on. You can get a heater hose fitting from AutoZone. I dunno if you car has a heater core bypass but mine doesn't. So I soldered a penny to the top of the heater hose fitting and then drilled a 1/4" hole in it to act as a restricter.
